We offer comprehensive plate sawing services to all of our customers. We stock a wide range of plates in a variety of materials. This includes aluminium plates in aerospace and commercial specifications.

Our Services

Standard plate sawing programme:

• Min. plate thickness - 3mm (1/8")
• Max. plate thickness - 254mm (10") standard
• Max. plate thickness - 381mm (15") speciality
• Max. width/length - 4000mm (13')

Tooling Plates

Our aluminium plates are further complimented by a range of speciality tooling plates that each offer specific attributes for advanced applications. In many of our material ranges, we hold large stocks of pre-cut planks that can either be taken as they are by customers or can be used to speed up our delivery times by reducing the number of cutting operations required.

No Outsourcing

There is no need for you to outsource your cutting ops to a third party - Thames can do all this for you in-house. Our plate sawing centres represent a considerable amount of long-term investment to provide the best possible service.

Equipment

We have a range of equipment, including vertical, horizontal and CNC saws. All offer tight tolerances to match customer requirements and reduce the need for further cutting in many cases.
